Testing reveals what is missing.
A wallet brand or written backup does not answer everything. What happens if a device fails, another person needs to act or instructions are incomplete?

QUESTIONS THAT CHANGE THE DECISION
Your question
may be here.
Does changing hardware wallets fix a compromised seed?
Using the same words on another device retains the same underlying keys. First establish whether the seed was affected and which procedure applies.
Understand this scenario ↗I have a backup but have never tested it. Am I prepared?
The backup needs to be sufficient and usable for your setup. A review checks the procedure and required information without asking you to expose secrets.
Understand this scenario ↗Does self-custody release money blocked at my bank?
No. The current restriction must be addressed through the appropriate channel. Self-custody can form part of a continuity plan prepared before another disruption.
Understand this scenario ↗Can USDT in my own wallet also be frozen?
Tether’s terms provide for such restrictions. Controlling your keys and depending on an issuer’s rules are different aspects.
Understand this scenario ↗I found my parent’s wallet. Should I try the PIN?
Identify the device and preserve what exists before making attempts. Access may require other materials; acting without understanding the setup can make matters worse.
Understand this scenario ↗How can I prepare my family without giving access now?
We can assess responsibilities, instructions and recovery paths suited to the situation. The essential part is that the person can follow the procedure when needed, with the appropriate authority.
Understand this scenario ↗Does your situation need
more than a general guide?
Tell me what you need to organise. I assess whether the service fits and explain the deliverables before you decide.
Do not send seed phrases, private keys or backups.
